The casting of Robert Downey Jr. is genius...he is the engine that runs the picture. And really, who doesn't want to see a guy in an iron suit blow up a tank? Saw Iron Man…doesn’t top Batman Begins or Spiderman 2, but it could conceivably be in the top 3 best comic book movies of recent years.

Ironmsn is going to be a benchmark this summer. Favreau(?) is a true fan of the source material and I think he has delivered the goods. Frankly I think Downey did for Tony Stark that Reeve did for Clark Kent and Supes. I am not a fan of Ironman but I think I will be. BTW it has a solid 96% on RT after 100 and some odd reviews.
