The official podcast of MovieZeal.com, where film is always best discussed under the gentle influence of fine wine (as fine as $10 will get you). Each week Evan, Heather, and Luke pick a theme, discuss a theatrical release based on that theme, pop the cork and drink a wine that fits said theme, and finally subject one another to The Gauntlet, where forcing others to watch painful films nets you fabulous prizes. There is not anything else on the internets like it (literally).

Hmm, Horton actually appeals to me a lot more than the live action Seuss flicks. It just seems more feasible to pull off the feel that I get from Seuss' work. Live action always seemed a bit stilted or over the top for me. Probably because I wasn't 8 when they came out...

I loved Cache. And Hard Candy. I guess that makes one.

Michael Haneke is an interesting guy. I read a quote from him once saying that his films are polemics against the American commercial style of filmmaking. I have no problem with that.

His movie Code Unknown is definitely worth watching. I've seen about 5 of his movies and I like it the best. Juliette Binoche is in it as well.

Never Back Down looks more to me like a teenybopper Fight Club. Actually, the working title was Get Some, which I think is pretty much all you need to know.
