It is unabashed, ludicrous, wicked fun, but you have to be willing to take the ride. Caught a midnight screening of this last night with a certain colleague of mine (*cough*cough*Luke*cough*cough) who did not appreciate the film as much as I did. Let's just say there was giggling at all the unfunny parts. However, it's not difficult to see why someone would find this to be insanely stupid. Although I dug its chili big time, I really can't fault Luke for hating its guts. We had an interesting conversation about the nature of action films afterwards. You know, Luke, we should do a podcast or something, where we get all pissed at each other about movies like <I>Wanted</i> and <i>Fool's Gold</i>.
