I wasn't particularly miserable throughout the experience of watching it (I had a big bucket of popcorn, after all), but I just felt empty when it was over, and the more I thought about it, the more it fell apart for me. ...So yeah, not the worst film. You’re clearly right that this isn’t the worst movie of the year (The Spiderwick Chronicles, Space Chimps, The Strangers, and Shutter are all easily above it on that list, as far as I’m concerned). It's funny that this was just posted, as I was going to chance a late show at my Montclair multiplex tonite, but I think my "wavering" status has just been decided, so to speak. I won't rush to see it. Nice job here with that "numbered" technique. Perceptive and original essay. Congratulations.
