The official podcast of MovieZeal.com, where film is always best discussed under the gentle influence of fine wine (as fine as $10 will get you). Each week Evan, Heather, and Luke pick a theme, discuss a theatrical release based on that theme, pop the cork and drink a wine that fits said theme, and finally subject one another to The Gauntlet, where forcing others to watch painful films nets you fabulous prizes. There is not anything else on the internets like it (literally).

Guess I was a little harsh. My very low opinion of this film may be influenced by the fact that I don't much care for Debra Messing.

I didn't think it was that bad--my jaw wasn't dropping at how awful it was the whole time or anything (just...you know...for part of it). My wife liked it, so I figured there must have been something good about it. Maybe she's just got worse taste than I thought. :)

Two stars is a pretty generous rating - I don't think I'd give this even half a star. I think it may be the worst romantic comedy ever made. I tend to enjoy rom-coms, but this one is a disgrace.

I might actually pay to see "The Wedding was Terrible but the Hors D’oeuvres were Good and Maybe on the Way Home We Can Go Out for Waffles".

But I do agree that this film is unfunny and clichéd, and a waste of time. Debra Messing did the best she could, but she should stick to TV {Will and Grace and The Starter Wife} - at least the writing for those shows is great. I thought is was a towering bore.
