The official podcast of MovieZeal.com, where film is always best discussed under the gentle influence of fine wine (as fine as $10 will get you). Each week Evan, Heather, and Luke pick a theme, discuss a theatrical release based on that theme, pop the cork and drink a wine that fits said theme, and finally subject one another to The Gauntlet, where forcing others to watch painful films nets you fabulous prizes. There is not anything else on the internets like it (literally).

Another fine entry here. You guys haven't done horror yet, have you? It seems like that's all I see when I walk by a RedBox.

How do these keep getting produced?

"This was hilarious in a particularly rocking way…"

Um, that's the greatest compliment ever. :) Thanks, Miranda! Also, I can't stress enough how much I too hate horror. It's kind of a mystery how I came home with this.

"We had to keep rewinding the DVD because you kept missing the shadowy figure that flitted through the mirror, and that kind of ruins said mood."

This was hilarious in a particularly rocking way...and that's always a good thing.

Having never been *ahem* FORMALLY married and possessing no children, I can't even imagine what you two are up against.

Kristena, like the mother/wife in most families, is the quintessential responsible party that gets things done and cleans up the messes. It's amazing that she was able to clear her very full schedule for this whimsical, lighthearted critique.

But I'm glad she did.

This is a rather unique template for reviewing. But it was definitely my most entertaining read all day...and I HATE horror.

Kristena and Evan, your superlative review not only gets the Miranda Wilding seal of approval, but two big thumbs up.

Looking forward to more whenever you have time, you crazy kids, you...

Yes, I am kind of partial to my family. They rock my socks.

This column is a fun, more blog-y feature. I'm holding out hope that I'm going to stumble on some overlooked gem in the RedBox, but it hasn't happened yet and it isn't looking promising so far. Every film has been a stinker so far - I think I'm going to have to work harder in my pre-selection process.

Ah ha, I checked out your wife's website the other day and got to see you Evan, Kristena and your daughters. Lovely family! To run this site with all your responsibilities is beyond amazing!

Another nice feature here.
