That image right there of The Rolling Stones is a perfect descriptor of how I feel right now. ‘Cause today I get to announce the newest addition to our crack team of movie reviewing fiends (and fiends we are!).
We manage, most of the time, to stay on top of things. But films and articles and fascinating pieces are always falling through the cracks because, quite frankly, we don’t have enough time or manpower to cover everything we’d like to. This has been a constant discussion behind the doors of MovieZeal (and I just made that sound WAY more epic than it actually is) – with only so many hours in the day, how can we bring you, our loyal and rabid readership (and I mean rabid in a nice way 
….also, I like saying ‘readership’…makes me feel pretty important), more fantastic cinematic content?
Well, the intelligent eloquent, and always passionate Sam Juliano has agreed to share his wonderful writing here at our little corner of the internet. Sam already sees and reviews multiple films, concerts, plays, and operas each week, and he sends his writing out to a select group of friends and colleagues, but he has graciously agreed to cross-post his work here. You may have met him in the comments section here or over at Living in Cinema. The man’s energy is positively relentless.
So, by all means give Sam a zealous welcome. And watch, in the next few days, for his excellent writing to start popping up on the site. “Pleased to meet you” indeed.

Well, I was trying to find a not-lame way to perform an introduction, and this is what I came up with. The picture kind of sold me on it.
No, we’re not comparing him to the devil (please don’t read into that, Sam
). I really am just completely thrilled that he’s willing to share his unique voice at MovieZeal, and that picture up above kind of summed it all up. The posts title naturally flowed from there. 
Perhaps I should have thought a bit harder about it?

That was a glorious introduction indeed, and as I am quite the fan of SHINE A LIGHT (and the Rolling Stones) I feel doubly fortunate. I know I have begun my affiliation with this terrific site and super writers by “biting the hand………” with my relentless assault at the Movie Zeel rating system—the same rating system that I now plan to adapt—hahaha—but what better way to ingratiate myself into the confidence of my new friends than with an old bar room brawl?!? LOL!!!
All joking aside, I am deeply flattered and grateful for that incredible posting and I am certain this will be a fruitful association.
I am honored to be a part of the Movie Zeal team, and I thank you so much for that Evan.

Wow, this is an incredible development! Great for all of us. I’ve been the recipient of Sam’s review emails just since the beginning of the summer, and I massively enjoy them – especially the personal insights he gives about his companions and the meals they share. Hope those remain at least in the emails, because they always make me jealous (and hungry) that Sam is running around New York seeing all of these amazing things.
Speaking of which, that may be the only downside to all of this – he sees everything so early in NYC that I have to avoid his reviews for weeks until I get to see the movies myself!
But I’m willing to trade off for his passionate and insanely well-versed writing. Welcome on behalf of MZ readers, Sam.
