One crucial lesson to be gleaned is the importance of music to film. The Coens have always respected it's role, and it shows in their films. The music - whether original by Burwell or selected tracks by others - is consistently one of the strongest elements in their films. I often found myself thinking, "Well, I wouldn't have gone that route with the music," but finding that their choices were always the right ones. I love the grand history tour this takes you though.
