For me, this was the funnest in the series. So colorful and alive with some of the best choreography I’ve seen on screen in a long, long time. If you can’t stomach HSM, I’m convinced that you must be taking it too seriously…

But MY wife Lucille LOVES the HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL films, as does my two daughters, especially eight-year-old Jillian. I saw this last weekend, and while it won’t challenge CITIZEN KANE or even SINGIN IN THE RAIN, it’s innocent enough and reasonably entertaining. All I had to navigate with though, were the screeming tenngae girls who were fawning over the male lead at every turn.

And yes Luke, it IS the exuberance that wins the day here, despite some embarrassing flaws, that I won’t mention here. This is one of those films that you must simply sit back and enjoy, and not think about. Very good review here!

And Nick, I’m sure you’ll like this one. It’s not revolutionary, but it’s definitely a solid entry in the series.

I still can’t see how Troy’s beater-truck made it 2000 miles round-trip, nearly non-stop to California. That thing was barely running the entire movie, then wham, it’s in California.

3 stars, I can agree with. Don’t like it, don’t hate it, ya ya ya. 4 stars? You’re killing me.
Although I expect my wife will agree with this rating.

I missed the press screenings of this, and the sneak peak previews and the pre-release-pre-release screenings, so now I will be seeing it this weekend, and I am still stoked to.
