I mean, I'm the guy who'll watch an entire movie of crap if there's a few minutes of good action in it. When it comes to this movie you really can't be too mean. When you compared this to Freddy vs. Jason you went too far, but only because that movie was actually watchable. I know of at least two movies promoted using acronyms (UHF and TMNT) and while neither of them may be actually good film making, they're both great as entertainment.
